We will be returning to the office on Wednesday September 9th. Treehouse Social Club and Pumpkinheads will still be accepting donations on our behalf. Please remember those locations are unable to accept furniture.

This year, the need for Baby2Baby’s services has increased as more families are seeking help from community-based organizations. In Los Angeles County the number of families seeking emergency shelter doubled in the winter of 2009*. These children and their families desperately need the basics: food, formula, cribs, and strollers.
Donations allow us to continue recycling gently used baby items and purchase essentials that are in short supply. They make a huge impact on families that depend on us.
$1,000 helps provide 6 families with cribs
$500 helps provide 10 families with car seats
$250 helps provide 5 families with strollers
$100 helps provide formula for 1 month

Summer Internship
Baby2Baby is offering an unpaid summer internship. This is a great opportunity for a university student who wants to learn about the nonprofit world and work with people who are excited about giving back to their community.
Baby2Baby supplies Los Angeles families in need with essential baby gear and clothing for their children 0-4 years old. We distribute new and gently used items through a network of community-based organizations. The duties of this position include administrative work, sorting baby gear, following up with clients and more.
This is a 6 week summer internship opportunity starting in June 2009. Candidates must be available to work on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10.30 am to 1pm. We are located on Pico and Sierra Bonita.

Baby2Baby attended the Fox Gives Philanthropy Fair on Thursday, March 19. We were invited to share our mission with over 6000 Fox employees. Baby2Baby looks forward to welcoming employees to our family of volunteers.

NEW EDITIONS LAUNCH BENEFITS BABY2BABY
Our friends at New Editions launched their line of limited edition fine art prints by contemporary artists for children and their families. They threw a super fun party in Venice Beach and donated a percentage of all prints sold to Baby2Baby! A big thanks for their generosity.

TEMPLE ISAIAH CLOTHING AND GEAR DRIVE
On Sunday, November 16, Temple Isaiah will host a drive for Baby2Baby. Bring your gently used gear and clothing from 9 AM - 12 PM to 10345 W. Pico Blvd LA 90064. There is convenient curbside drop off on the corner of Kerwood and Pico. All donations are tax deductible!

TOY DONATION DAY FOR THE KIDS FROM DIVISION OF FAMILY AND CHILDREN SERVICES (DFCS)
Baby2Baby has invited kids from DCFS to come to our space on Sunday, November 16 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM to choose their own toys and books from our huge inventory. Los Angeles families have been so generous in donating their kids’ gently used toys and books and we are excited to get them into the little hands of kids who need them the most.
If you have toy or book donations, we ask that you bring them to our space at 5522 W. Pico Blvd LA 90019 so we can sort through them and prepare them for our big donation day. Drop by on Wednesday Nov 12 or Sunday Nov 16 between 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM.

For contributions to their mothers and children, Beyond Shelter honored Baby2Baby on May 8 at Paramount Studios. Asian Pacific Women’s Center honored Baby2Baby on May 22 at their Annual Metamorphosis Gala.

Big Sunday - On May 4th, Baby2Baby and Temple Isaiah hosted another very successful clothing and gear drive as part of Big Sunday - the largest community service event in America!
April 2008
Along with Baby Celebration LA, Baby2Baby launched its Car Seat Drive to help raise money to purchase 48 Car Seats in 48 Hours. The event was a success - we raised enough money to purchase 50 new car seats!
On April 20, volunteers in Eagle Rock organized a fun filled drive to benefit Baby2Baby. Families donated their gently used items and were treated to a morning of crafts, games, activities & bouncing!
On April 22, Baby2Baby, The Treehouse Social Club, Julie Bowen and Joely Fisher hosted an event celebrating Earth Day! Families donated their gently used gear and clothing and were treated to a wonderful afternoon of activities, music, raffles.
